Contracts Manager

Deanston Cooper is currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to work for a highly successful and extremely busy civil engineering contractor based in Glasgow. Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects across the Central Belt including infrastructure, water and energy.

Ensuring that these projects are brought in on time and in budget, your duties as Contracts Manager include:

• Undertaking regular formal inspections of sites 
• Managing and overseeing all aspects of project works
• Supervising Site Agents, Site Managers and Project Managers as required
• Implementing project requirements to fully meet the client specification in accordance with relevant standards.
• Preparing progress reports and technical reports for clients and for internal use
• Ensuring client satisfaction during projects and at handover
• Dealing with contractual matters
• Ensuring Health and Safety processes and procedures are adhered to on site
• Supporting  the preparation of bids when required

Applications are welcome from candidates who are currently working at Project Manager or Contracts Manager level for another civils contractor. Experienced in managing multiple projects at the same time, you will be hardworking, motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
