Due to large number of project awards, Deanston Cooper is currently recruiting for a Surfacing Project Manager to work for a high successful, privately owned Civil Engineering contractor based in Glasgow. Projects include highways, car parks, footpaths, cycle schemes and leisure.
Managing multiple surfacing projects, across the Central Belt, your duties as Project Manager will include:
- Managing the planning phase of projects and attending pre start meetings with clients
- Planning project resources including plant, labour and materials as well as agreeing any site layout and welfare facilities
- Supervising surfacing squads on construction phase of projects
- Managing Health & Safety on site
- Liaising with clients and reporting on any variations
