Deanston Cooper’s client, a leading civil engineering & groundworks contractor based in Livingston area, has a current requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to work on commercial and residential projects across the Central Belt of Scotland.

Duties include:

• Managing post contract commercial tasks on a variety of projects
• Preparing interim valuations and final accounts
• Procurement and cost control of subcontractors and specialised suppliers
• Liaising with operational staff to ensure efficient, cost effective site practice
• Client liaison

Applications are welcome from candidates qualified to a minimum of HNC level in Quantity Surveying who have gained experience working either a groundworks contractor, civil engineering contractor or house builder. You will be at a level where you are able to run your own projects and work largely unsupervised. A full driving licence is essential for this role.
