Deanston Cooper’s client, a highly successful and expanding civil engineering and building contractor, has a current requirement for an additional Business Development Manager to join their team. The role can be based out of either their Glasgow or Edinburgh office.
Duties include:
- Maintaining and building relationships with existing clients as well as trying to source new business opportunities
- Maintaining and keeping up to date contacts/clients on the CRM System as well as the Tender Leads Report
- Liaison with Estimators and Operations staff on current and upcoming tenders with regards to Clients, Engineers, Project Managers, Architects and Quantity Surveyors etc
- Compilation of company information to be handed out to potential clients
- Monitoring PCS for upcoming projects as well as Researching Online/Local Authority Planning portals for upcoming developments/projects
- Assisting with the maintenance of Company Website and LinkedIn page
- Complete customer satisfaction surveys following project completionsPhotographs of projects – progress and completion
- Producing reports for Directors on clients and opportunities
- Attend fortnightly Business Development Team Meetings
- Attend/Lead Business Development Divisional Meetings
- Attend industry supplier events/seminars for networking
- Arranging and attending Corporate Hospitality and staff events
