Deanston Cooper is currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join a well established structural steelwork contractor based near Dunfermline. The company as a strong order book with workload including architectural steel and metal works, balustrades, steel portal frame farm buildings, walkovers and bridgeworks, much of which is bespoke.

Reporting to the Director your duties as Contracts Manager will include:

• Leading a small team overseeing the day to day operations
• Appraising of new tenders/new works orders
• Planning works and procurement of materials, labour and subcontractors.
• Liaising with client for pricing, programming and execution of the works.
• Preparing financial forecasts.
• CVR reporting
• All Company Health and Safety matters.

• Experience  working at Sub Agent, Site Agent or Contracts Manager level for a civil engineering contractor
• Ideally some knowledge / experience of structural steel work
• Good Commercial awareness
• Excellent Health & Safety knowledge

The Contracts Manager vacancy offers a salary of up to £70 000 plus car / car allowance, pension and healthcare.
