Surfacing Supervisor
Due to large number of project awards, Deanston Cooper is currently recruiting for a Surfacing Supervisor to work for a high successful, privately owned Civil Engineering contractor. The client is ideally looking for someone on a permanent basis but will also consider freelance if required.
Managing multiple surfacing projects, across the Central Belt, duties will include:
- Managing the planning phase of projects and attending pre start meetings with clients
- Planning project resources including plant, labour and materials as well as agreeing any site layout and welfare facilities
- Supervising surfacing squads on construction phase of projects
- Managing Health & Safety on site
- Liaising with clients and reporting on any variations

- Bituminous materials knowledge
- Experience supervising surfacing squads
- Excellent Health & Safety knowledge
- A full driving licence
