The role:

Due to expansion, Deanston Cooper is currently recruiting for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join their highly successful team based in Glasgow.

Specialising within the Construction Sector in Scotland you will be responsible for managing the end to end recruitment cycle, providing both our clients and candidates with the highest levels of knowledge and service.

Nurturing existing relationships as well as winning new business, day to day duties will include:

• Generating sales leads
• Making sales calls
• Attending client meetings
• Providing consultative information to clients and candidates
• Delivering a range of recruitment solutions
• Taking effective job descriptions
• Designing candidate generation plans and carrying out candidate searches
• Writing job advertisements
• Interviewing Candidates
• Reference checking
• Negotiating offers of employment

What you will need to succeed:

• At least 6 months sales / business development experience where you can demonstrate meeting and exceeding targets
• Unbeatable interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and candidates
• A thirst for developing your skills and knowledge
• Excellent work ethic
• Ambition, tenacity, credibility and drive
• Current driving licence
