Deanston Cooper's client, a leading civil engineering contractor, has a current requirement for a HSEQ Advisor to be based in their office in Cheshire.

 

The successful candidate will use their experience and a first class attitude to deliver briefings, toolbox talks and site safety audits. You will participate in project safety meetings and input to safety plans and improvements. You will help to eliminate accidents and incidents and if required investigate any unplanned events to determine route causes and improvement actions. You will be familiar with the practical application of safety management systems and UK Safety Legislation. Duties will also include monitoring activities to ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years Practical HSQE experience on site
• Experience of working on building or civil engineering projects
• Knowledge of quality management systems such as  ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
